EPC Rating Improvement Reports

These report sits on the back of an EPC. Typically, if a building has a poor rating, cost effective improvement options are sought.

In the simplest of terms, a report can be delivered verbally and at no cost but will range up to comprehensive written reports that will vary from a ‘quick win’ check list to a full report that will deliver full calculations on Returns of Investments (ROI’s) and their predicted effect on EPCs.

ISO50001

ISO 50001:2018 is a set of guidelines for businesses to implement, monitor and maintain an Energy Management System (EnMS).

These guidelines help businesses to develop policies so that they can use energy more efficiently, assign and meet objectives related to energy usage and use data to better understand their decisions.

ISO 50001:2018 is the most recent version of the standard, building on the back of ISO 50001:2011 which has now been withdrawn.

Compliance Solutions

The Building Energy Practice is now working with Base Property Support Ltd www.base-support.co.uk to provide many of the works needed to improve the buildings energy footprint. We offer a full solution package taking us from ‘design to implementation’ of existing buildings leading to MEES compliance or Part L compliance for a material change of use, such as Non-Domestic to Domestic. Such works maybe as simple as changing the lamps to full insulation systems on external walls, floors and roofs and we have experts on hand for listed building advise.
