Any space with an air conditioning system over 5 years old, in excess of 12kW and under the control of a single operator and within a single demise is required to obtain an Air Conditioning Certificate and Report as outlined within CIBSE TM44

Air conditioning systems have become increasingly popular over the years to condition the environments of offices and shops, ironically the more they are used the more we’ll need them as they consume a large amount of energy which in turns fuels ‘Global Warming’. The EPBD states that inspections are now required to ensure the efficient operation of these systems.
